ADHD Transition to College

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR A RESEARCH STUDY

Are you a student with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as a primary or secondary diagnosis?

A study is underway that surveys students with disabilities to learn more about their disability identity development and perception of adaptation to college. I would like to invite you to participate. The survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete, and contains basic questions about yourself, your disability identity development, and perceptions about your adaptation to college.

If you choose to participate, you may enter your contact information (or opt out by not entering it) to enter a drawing for $20.00 e-gift cards. Ten gift cards will be drawn. Participants completing the survey during the first two-weeks of recruitment (March 7, 2024 – March 21, 2024) will be eligible to receive a 20.00 e-gift card in addition to the raffle drawing. Your participation in this study is voluntary.

To be eligible to participate in this study, you must:

  • An undergraduate student at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign;
  • Identify as having ADD/ADHD;
  • 18 years or older;
  • completed at least one academic year (Freshman – minimum of 24 hours and transfer students – minimum of one semester on campus);
  • able to reliably complete self-report measures in English

If you are interested in participating, you may check out the eligibility criteria and the survey: https://go.illinois.edu/DisabilityIdentity_ADHDSurvey

Feel free to share with others who may be eligible to participate.

Thank you for your time and consideration!
